Our Approach
Here at Tracing Talent our teaching style follows most similarly to the Traditional Public School Approach, however, we believe that the student’s interests are the best place to start when developing a learning plan. We believe children need to be guided in order to grow but do offer some flexibility and choice. We believe that the child should have a well-rounded education that incorporates many different learning opportunities and assessments!

Tracing Talent is a family day home that offers education and homeschooling services, located in Westerose, Alberta. Children ages 3 to 18 enrolled in our program have a Personalized Education Plan (PEP) created and delivered to them by an Alberta Certified Teacher. Our plans help children explore their passions and interests, and develop their talents. Each plan is unique and directed at turning weaknesses into strengths and strengths into mastery.
Tracing Talent uses the best educational resources and technologies available. Children enrolled in our program have access to iPads, Chromebooks, educational websites and apps, and extended reality devices and software. They also benefit from participating in educational field trips, special activities and other local events.
We believe every child is unique and capable of great things. Given the proper guidance and a positive learning environment, a child’s future can be one of limitless possibilities. Children under our care receive a quality education that supports their passions and builds their skills, giving them the ability to live their best life.
